I've seen the future

[Headaches. That's how they started. Then, suddenly, she'd see them. The flashes.

The visions. At first she doesn't understand. They're everyone around her doing things, but they aren't memories. Not her memories. Then she finds out some things she sees...happen.

The future?

The future.

But she sees so many different...things that could happen, that don't. How can she even...how can she figure out what's to pass and what won't? How can she make sure this doesn't get out and arouse suspicion? What did those things do to her?...And why does she feel ok with it...?

So, there might be a Garnet-shaped figure running towards you, before you do something. It could be cooking, or walking into a room, or...anything really. But she's going to stop you.

She's seen what's going to happen. All of them.]

[It was December-- the perfect time to hit the beach and start endurance training for the annual Polar Bear Dive. Koumei, skinny as he was, wasn't going to turn down the possibility of getting Cosmic Indulgence some media attention (and get Page and their awful jokes off of his neck)

With a towel laid out on the sand and his shoes anchoring it against any possible gusts, Koumei had his shirt halfway off by the time a very concerned Garnet came in his direction.]

Garnet? [he asked, pulling his shirt off just in time for her arrival.] What's going on? Did Page send you?

No, no its nothing like that!

[She looks around, then leans in, her voice lowered.]

Just. You might want to move when you see the kids coming.

[dishevelment]

Kids?

[His confusion was evident on his face. It was December- hardly a time for kids to be swimming!]

Yes. Kids.

[That explains everything.]

[dishevelment]

But, Garnet. I don't see any kids.

[He shrugged, feeling helpless once again before his bandmate's strange behaviors.]

Did you want to join me? I'm training for the Polar Bear Dive.

[twoscompany]

No, you wouldn't here. Maybe at the place you go for dinner, though...

[....Anyhow. She starts taking her clothing off...]

Sure. I figured you'd enjoy the company.

[...revealing she has a swimsuit on.]

[...her foresight was nothing short of impressive. Folding his shirt and dropping it on the towel, Koumei offered her an appreciative smile.]

Thanks. Swimming's always more fun with another person around.

Of course.

[She nods with her own smile, as she walks towards the water.]

[And thus Koumei followed her, enjoying the companionable quiet between the two of them. The nice thing about being around Garnet was that conversation didn't need to dominate affairs-- it was a comfort that they shared, between the two of them.

...And this was why Garnet was the 'Mom' of their band. Cosmic Indulgence's fans really were on to something.]
