I've seen the future
Who: Garnet and YOU!
What: Garnet gets Future Vision!
When: December 1st onward!
Where: Anywhere
Warnings: None at the moment! If you want Garnet to see something in your character's future that's true and for her to inform them about it, please let me know!
[Headaches. That's how they started. Then, suddenly, she'd see them. The flashes.
The visions. At first she doesn't understand. They're everyone around her doing things, but they aren't memories. Not her memories. Then she finds out some things she sees...happen.
The future?
The future.
But she sees so many different...things that could happen, that don't. How can she even...how can she figure out what's to pass and what won't? How can she make sure this doesn't get out and arouse suspicion? What did those things do to her?...And why does she feel ok with it...?
So, there might be a Garnet-shaped figure running towards you, before you do something. It could be cooking, or walking into a room, or...anything really. But she's going to stop you.
She's seen what's going to happen. All of them.]

the woman running towards him, however, may see things differently; a howling grief and self-loathing, overwhelming and consuming to the point of completely overtaking him. there's a mess of possibilities there, the source unknown, but very, very few of them involve him coping in a reasonable manner. coping from what, though...?
as he looks up, he seems oblivious - and startled.]
W-what!?
no subject
She stares back, not sure how to say what she needs to say. She'd probably sound insane, if she spoke about her visions out loud.
Especially about this kid. Practically hair-ripping grief, and...because...because..........]
I.
What are you doing this weekend?
no subject
is he being asked out?
after a few moments of confusion, Shen manages to recover, wondering if he's been recognized but- she looks familiar, too, where has he seen her before?
either way, he looks down, starting to step inside. maybe if he gives her the cold shoulder, she'll get the hint]
...working.
no subject
I didn't--
You're not going to handle it well. This weekend.
Its not going to end well.

Just a guy out to do his mail. Normal and definitely not expecting to get bothered, so he's a little startled when someone yells out. Greg blinks, staring at her--oh jeez, he knows her, right? She's--uh. They've never talked in person. He doesn't need someone from Pride catching on to him. ]
Uh. Sorry, do you need something?
no subject
I can take that package for you. They'll be likely to figure it out if you send it.
no subject
[First startled, then confused, then embarrassed.]
Oh... oh man. Was I that obvious? I thought... [Still, he holds the package tight.] Who told you?
no subject
[She looks at the package.]
Its complicated. I didn't even realize it was you until...well.
Its complicated.

With a towel laid out on the sand and his shoes anchoring it against any possible gusts, Koumei had his shirt halfway off by the time a very concerned Garnet came in his direction.]
Garnet? [he asked, pulling his shirt off just in time for her arrival.] What's going on? Did Page send you?
no subject
[She looks around, then leans in, her voice lowered.]
Just. You might want to move when you see the kids coming.
no subject
[His confusion was evident on his face. It was December- hardly a time for kids to be swimming!]

[He looks over his shoulder and raises an eyebrow at her]
Can I help you?

...
I don't think you're going to win.
no subject
Win what?
[His tone is overly polite. Careful Garnet, you're on thin ice.]

The fight you're going to have.

But in his future there's some true threat. He's going to be shoved off of a balcony. Not that he knows that, of course.
So right now he's surprised by her running directly at him, and is stopped from pressing the up button on the elevator.]
Garnet?
no subject
[She stops, looks, and then puts a hand on his shoulder, pointing to the elevator. The implication is clear.
She wants to talk to him, privately.]
no subject
He presses the button, if Garnet wants to talk, and she wants to talk right now... Well, it has to be important, right?
It doesn't take too long for the elevator to come down, and he steps inside.]
What's up? You doing okay?

Oh boy. There's a lot of really terrible futures that she might be seeing for Kido. Running away, getting into fights, substance abuse. All are total possibilities for the coming weekend. As are things like making breakfast for her band, a surprise performance, and just chilling in HQ. Like it's either one extreme or the other with this girl, Garnet, sorry.]
Me? [Don't like attack or anything. Jesus.] Look, I didn't do it. [What she didn't do, she doesn't know but like Christ.]
no subject
[Pause.]
...Not yet, at least.

She was just walking to get some fast food. She'd put on tons of warm clothes so she could look at least somewhat normal. Scarves, hat, ski mask, etc. There was no way someone would ever think it was her without the helmet... right?]
