I've seen the future
Who: Garnet and YOU!
What: Garnet gets Future Vision!
When: December 1st onward!
Where: Anywhere
Warnings: None at the moment! If you want Garnet to see something in your character's future that's true and for her to inform them about it, please let me know!
[Headaches. That's how they started. Then, suddenly, she'd see them. The flashes.
The visions. At first she doesn't understand. They're everyone around her doing things, but they aren't memories. Not her memories. Then she finds out some things she sees...happen.
The future?
The future.
But she sees so many different...things that could happen, that don't. How can she even...how can she figure out what's to pass and what won't? How can she make sure this doesn't get out and arouse suspicion? What did those things do to her?...And why does she feel ok with it...?
So, there might be a Garnet-shaped figure running towards you, before you do something. It could be cooking, or walking into a room, or...anything really. But she's going to stop you.
She's seen what's going to happen. All of them.]

WAIT!

I'm fine. You won't be.
[She fixes her eyes on him.]
Stay away from any balconies you come across. Especially if there's anyone from Virgo with you.
[She can't say who. She literally sees everyone from Virgo, in each and every possibility that flashes in front of her. She doesn't know why. Right now, she doesn't care, as long as she can figure out a way. There has to be a possibility where he's not...not in that situation.
Right? If he could listen to her.]
no subject
He trains his eyes on her. If she's this serious about it, and boy does she sound serious.]
How do you know that?
[Genos wants to listen, but he's also completely confused. There has to be a reason she thinks something bad is going to happen. Right?]
no subject
[She lets in a deep breath.]
...I know, it sounds insane, doesn't it? Coming from me, someone you barely know outside a few concerts.
no subject
[But he'll look down at his shoes for a moment. That memory? That dream of his body being metal and being melted. The other vision of crying oil tears for a person he doesn't remember.]
But I might be going insane, so there's that.
[This is private, isn't it? He can talk.
Garnet asked him in here to warn him about danger. So she has to care at least a little bit.]
I've been having these weird visions. Like... my body isn't supposed to look like this- I should be metal. Everything should be metal, but instead I've got skin and it doesn't feel right. I mean, it's not like I want to be a machine, but sometimes I look at my arm and it doesn't feel like it's mine.
no subject
[She breaks out into something like a smile. For a moment, perhaps, it might seem like she would laugh, tell Genos she's joking, or maybe tell him he's insane, how can he be a machine?
Then she actually speaks.]
So have I. Just...I don't imagine I'm a robot. But...definitely not...well. Normal.
[She nods.]
I thought I was going mad, myself. Before you new lot arrived, even. I started having the same strange thoughts. I still have them. And now...now some of those visions are of things that haven't even happened yet!
[A chuckle.]
If you're going insane, love, I think I'm already there.
no subject
Genos listens carefully, so he's not the only one who thinks that this isn't quite right, that his body doesn't fit the way it should.
He rubs at his wrist- it shouldn't feel like that, it shouldn't look like that.]
At least we'll be insane together. [That's a little comforting, somehow.]
I haven't had any visions of the future. How do you know they're going to happen?
no subject
Its complicated. From...what I can tell...its different pictures for the same things - for one moment in the future, as to what could happen. Its been coming into my head lately. Always, one of those possibilities I've seen for different things, has come to happen since I started having the visions a few days ago...
I can't tell which vision's going to happen, though. I just...can only go with my gut.
no subject
Okay... I've never heard about any kind of future vision ever. But one of those possibilities really will happen. And you're sure of it?
And I'm... what? I'm going to get pushed off a balcony?
[But why would he be shoved off a balcony? He didn't think he made any actual enemies from Virgo.]
no subject
That's right. By someone from Virgo.
no subject
I'll be careful.
no subject
Thank you.
[She does to release the stop on the elevator.]
Oh...also, I didn't tell you any of this. Just...as a precaution. I just don't feel comfortable with our higher ups knowing.
no subject
This was just a normal elevator ride and we didn't tell each other anything.
[That's fair, right? He doesn't want to be taken in for questioning and he doubts Garnet does either.]
no subject
[UH MYRIAD FLASHES OF THINGS err]
...discussing what kind of coffee to get when we got to the lobby.
[Ding!]

[She nods, mindful of people looking at them.]
Good to talk to you.
no subject
[He'll wave her off.
Be careful of balconies, huh? Shouldn't be too hard.]
