A little while after the disaster at Naomi's, those who had attended might find themselves approached- by Luce on Virgo's side, by Luci on Pride's, or perhaps by someone who had heard about it from either of them. The subject of conversation?

Another party. One that involves another mingle of both labels, without being used for any ulterior motives.

Those who seem up to it are given a time and place. Blue Heist is one of the clubs around town that has what could be called a "basement level", for private renting and parties available to anyone who has the cash to spend on it. It's a pretty simple set up, nothing extravagant like the party at Naomi's... Which is absolutely on purpose, let no one tell you otherwise. There's a reason any mics or karaoke equipment has been pointedly removed. All the music is on the system already.

Nope, tonight it's just dancing and drinking, with a couple of rooms to the side that have cheesy movies playing in case you're tired out. No closed doors, no poison at the bar, no murder.

And if you want to take a moment to maybe have a talk to someone on the opposite label to discuss or apologize for the events of the prior night... That's fine too.

Just be careful. Both labels are still under watch, it seems, with a few bodyguards from both sides around the perimeter here and there.

Considering what had happened the last time they'd met up... Luce can understand completely if there's not much friendliness. There's a lot of regret in her eyes even as she smiles to him.

"Well, the party seems to be going well, so I certainly can't complain. I'd been meaning to talk to you, as a matter of fact."

Jecht looked her over briefly, but really, holding a grudge wasn't in his nature. Too much freaky stuff had gone down for him to blame her for what had happened. And... yeah, he was pretty much a softy at heart, even if he didn't really know that himself.

"Now seems like a good place for it," he said with a nod.

Her shoulders slump slightly in relief, and she reaches into her purse to pull up a small wrapped parcel and hand it to him.

"It's not much, but I hope you'll like it."

"Hey, this isn't 'talking'." Jecht almost blushed with the sudden surprise of Luce passing him a present, and the commiserate embarrassment of having nothing to give her in return. "Oughtta warn a guy..."

That didn't stop him from taking the package, though.

"That takes the fun out of a surprise if you're given a heads up!" Because that cute reaction is certainly worth it, and Luce's smile is brighter now.

"It's just a little thing, anyway."

"Well now I look like the jerk, taking a present and not giving one back!" Again, that didn't stop him in the slightest from ripping the packaging open with exactly as little delicacy as anyone should expect from Jecht.

"Considering I'm surprising other people with gifts, too, at least you won't be alone." She's not been hard to miss in this regard.

Jecht's gift is a well made pair of leather gloves, something she at least hopes goes well with his usual ensemble.

"Damn." Jecht let out a sigh because, well, they were awesome! And he had nothing to give to her in return except appreciation. Which he gave, in spaces, by unhesitatingly pulling them on to check their fit. "These are awesome!" he said as he lifted his hands, flexing his fingers so she could see the good work she'd done.

"Glad to hear it. I had to do a bit of a rough estimate." Good thing she has a good eye. It's a trait she's never really questioned about herself. Rocking back on her heels, Luce beams. "They seemed like just the thing to go with your look!"

"Good fit, good flex. So long as they've got a good grip, and I'm thinking they do." Sure felt like it anyway, at least as near as he could tell from his rhythmic flexing. Looking up from his hands, he grinned at Luce.

"Look, I ain't any good at the sincere thanks stuff, so... just figure it out, okay?"

Such a gruff and awkward way about things makes Luce's eyes sparkle.

"Don't worry, dear, I think I can understand what you mean." She pats his arm with a chuckle. "Now, enjoy the rest of the party, won't you?"

"Well, if you want a proper thanks we can really enjoy the rest of the party." Jecht gave her a big cheesy wink. Didn't exactly expect her to take him up on the offer.

With an exaggerated roll of her eyes, she smacks his arm playfully. "Sir! There are children about." Well, teenagers. It still counts, really.

"So we gotta set a good example." Given who, exactly, those 'children' were -- well, Jecht's wink said exactly what kind of example they needed.

Another laugh. "Tell you what- how about you treat me to a dance first?"

"You know, I could get behind that." Jecht planted the heels of his hands onto the bar and pushed himself off the stool to his feet. "Ain't much of a dancer, but it's the company that counts, right?"

"Well, if you're not much of a dancer, then I could take the lead." Luce spreads her arms out a little to show herself off- 5'6 and not nearly as tall as him, all the image of a delicate lady. "What do you think? I could definitely fill in as the man's spot, don't you think?"

Hopefully her grin makes it obvious she's teasing.

"Think I'll take my chances leading." Teasing or not, she got a chuckle out of Jecht. (Though he took the opportunity to look her over, make no mistake.)

And while he's looking her over, she'll reach back to playfully flick his nose. "Keep your eyes on your feet and not me, hm, Jecht?" she laughs, leading him to te dancefloor.

Which got Jecht to wrinkle his nose like a hardcore metal drummer shouldn't. "You're a lot hotter than my feet!"

Grandly waltzing out, Jecht caught Luce up and guided her into place with casual, gentle strength.

"Then that just means your feet aren't moving enough." Happy to let herself be guided, Luce settles into his arms.

"Do a lot of dancing?"

"Not unless you count mosh pits." Don't worry, Luce, Jecht was gonna be a lot more delicate than that with you.

She certainly hopes so especially with the giggle that follows after her words. "You know, I don't think I've ever exactly gone into a mosh pit before."

The image of her -- or at least, Jecht's image of her in one -- brought a grin to the drummer's face. "I get the feeling anyone who thought you'd be a fragile flower too delicate for one would be in for a surprise."

Luce puts on her best doe-eyed innocent look. It's not half bad, if she does say so herself. The exaggeration is all on purpose. "Now, Jecht, why ever would you think something like that?"
