"...No. I don't think I've ever been able to do... whatever that was." He's a fighter, he's sure of that. There would be no reason to have a skill like that.

Another few seconds pass and she sinks down the wall, sitting on the floor. "Think they slipped us something backstage? We could be high."

[wounds]

"I haven't eaten anything here. I doubt it." Genos has been here since morning, all he's had was breakfast and then he was a tornado of fussing.

That causes her to pause long enough to frown at him. "How long have you been here for?"

[wounds]

Morning.

"Long enough. You don't need to worry about it. I'll get dinner after this."

[blindfoldcode]

"Of course I need to worry about it. You're so busy worrying about everyone else, you forget yourself. There's probably something around here."

[wounds]

"You don't need to worry about it. You're younger than me." He sighs a little. "But we can go get dinner after we talk to everybody."

[blindfoldcode]

"My age doesn't matter." Oh dear, that was definitely not a thing to say, Genos. "I'm allowed to worry, even if you're twenty years older than me."

[wounds]

"I'm two years older than you," he's going with it, even if he shouldn't have gone there. "If anything, you're like my fussy little sister."

That sort of thing drives her crazy. She scowls. "I am not your--"

Stepping out of a car, huddled against her brothers, all their eyes red. They're nudged forward toward a woman and a girl just a little older than the three of them. That man in glasses--her "dad" introducing them, saying that she was going to be their sister. And she and the boys would be Ayano's little brothers and sister.

And she looks away from him, the frown still set. "I'm not your sister."

He blinks, confused, concerned- but he knows what a pause like that means. So he settles beside her, making sure she's fine. It's an odd reaction to the phrase, he thinks, but it also feels like the thing that describes them best.

"I won't call you that again if you don't want me to." Of course, he cares about her, so he's not about to make it any more awkward for her than he has to.

She wants nothing more than to have a brother. Tiger, Genos... those two are the closest thing she has to that. But those boys...

She's never felt more lonely in her life. She props her arms on her knees.

"... Just don't call me fussy. That's for a kid." Jeeze, a kid like Tiger. Not her. She is not a kid.

[wounds]

"Alright. Then my concerned little sister." Since he didn't hear a stop calling me a sister in there. So he'll reach over and ruffle her hair.

"Where do you want to go?"

What. She blinks. She does not get hair ruffles, she gives them. Mostly because her hair is basically made of static and shorter strands are now standing on end. This is why she normally keeps her hood up.

"Go?"

[wounds]

There's the tiniest little smile on his face. It's cute seeing her frazzled like that.

"Let's get something to eat."

She is not cute, omg, she is supposed to look tough and done with shit.

"You're the one who skipped eating. What do you want?"

[wounds]

Nah, she's cute and frazzled.

"Breakfast. Waffles and bacon sound good right about now."

[blindfoldcode]

"I think there's somewhere around here that does breakfast all day. We'll go there." And hope not to get mobbed or anything.

[wounds]

"Sounds great." He'll flash a smile as he starts packing up his guitar.

At least they've got bodyguards for this, even if it might mean constant observance. Better than getting mobbed.

Unfortunately, that does not protect them from the tabloids.

She gets to her feet, still a little shaky, and returns her bass to its case. "Depending on who shows up back here, should we invite everybody else, or just us?"

She kind of prefers one on one, but she doesn't know if he's as much of an introvert as she is.

[wounds]

Nothing can protect from those, he's pretty sure.

He considers bringing it with him. Instead he'll hand it off to one of the guards with strict instructions to make sure it gets back to his penthouse safe.

"Just us is fine." He sees his bandmates plenty, and those are the people he usually sits down at meals with.

That is probably true.

Kido will probably pass the bass off to someone in the band. "I kinda like the sound of that."

[wounds]

"Then lets get going."

He'll start heading towards the backdoor.

She'll follow along. She looks a little less dazed than when they first came off the stage. "I know that was weird, but... thanks." She really doubted anyone else would've played that with her.

[wounds]

"You're welcome... It... was good." Despite the odd feeling during the performance, it felt real. The music felt overpowering and true.

Can't say that about every song.
